Our goal is to build the world’s largest and most inclusive cycling community to help fund and deliver Baobikes — strong, durable bicycles designed to help students in rural Senegal reach school every day.

And that is why every new school year, we increase the number of Baobikes traveling on the roads of Senegal, because it is a simple solution for a big problem. The Baobike 3.0 is the result of many years of experience and constant improvement. It is designed to adapt to the sandy and tough Senegalese terrain and give students a better experience while peddling to school. What makes it unique? The chain has been replaced with a belt, preventing rust and loss of tension. 5-spoke magnesium wheel that reduces breakage. Low-maintenance rear drum brake. Strong, rust-free aluminum frame. Ergonomic and unisex design, with adjustable seat, higher handlebars, and metal pedals. The tires are puncture-proof Tannus.
